Every product is only as good as how well the customer can use it.
That's why at Dronetag we're not looking for "support". We're looking for someone who'll stand by customers long-term — in the field, in operations, in real situations.
After the system is deployed, you become their main point of contact. Your role is to make sure things work. Not in theory, but in practice.
What it looks like in reality
One day you're handling a system deployment in the field. Another, you're tuning how the customer uses it in everyday operations. And you help in moments when the outcome really matters.
This isn't "support". It's work in an environment where our solutions secure critical sites — from industrial complexes to airports and other strategic locations.
What you'll be doing:
This isn't about closing tickets. Your job is to:
- handle specific customer situations — when something doesn't work or they're unsure how to proceed
- guide them in real time (call / messages) so things move forward quickly
- independently solve simpler technical issues and efficiently hand off the more complex ones to development
- see things through to the end — no "hand off and forget"
- build direct communication with customers (no ticketing system)
- collect feedback from operations and turn it into concrete inputs for the product
- help customers get the most out of the product
Over time, you can become one of the key faces of the entire community.
Occasionally also:
- you'll prepare or present a demo
- you'll go out to a customer and help with setup on site
- you'll join events and in-person meetings
What a day looks like
In the morning you sort through messages and priorities. During the day you handle specific situations — sometimes quickly, sometimes in depth. In the afternoon and evening you communicate with customers (most are in the US). And in between you collect insights from the field and help the team understand what's actually going on out there.
What's essential about this role:
- you're the main contact after the sale
- you hold the relationship, not just communication
- you help people actually use the product
When it works:
- customers come to you, not to anonymous support
- things get resolved quickly and without chaos
- the product improves thanks to what you bring back
Who we're looking for:
This isn't a role where you just reply to messages. What matters is that:
- you can communicate in a way that earns people's trust
- you understand technology (and aren't afraid to dig into it)
- you're independent and take things into your own hands
- you solve problems instead of pushing them along
- you can handle situations when something doesn't work
- you have advanced English in speech and writing — it's your working tool
A plus:
- experience with hardware / a technical product
- background in customer success, support, or a field role
