Drone Visual & CNTRL B.V. Secure Festival Airspace with Dronetag Scout

Two unauthorized drone flights revealed
Communication and decision-making improved

At Paaspop - one of the largest festivals in the Netherlands - organizers, police, and regulatory bodies faced mounting pressure to monitor and manage drone activity. The safety of tens of thousands of attendees was at stake, but traditional detection tools couldn’t reliably spot rogue drones or trace their pilots. Real-time tracking of both authorized and unauthorized drones was essential for safe, legal operations.
Drone Visual and CNTRL B.V. installed the Dronetag Scout, enabling real-time Remote ID-based detection and pilot location pinpointing. The user-friendly interface allowed festival personnel to quickly interpret data and communicate with on-site command. The system’s ease of use and rich data stream showed clear benefits for both real-time awareness and after-action reporting.
